Information

Training Squad and Tryouts:  

Each age group will take approximately 15-20 players as part of the training squad.

The group will have a training session and scrimmage once a week.  2 hours.

Some teams may have extra training sessions if court time is available (which may involve extra cost).

The training squad will be made up of the most dedicated basketball players in the region.  As it is said "iron sharpens iron."  Players from different schools and towns will see each other as teammates rather than as competitors.  We call this "the brotherhood of basketball".

The registration fee is $120.  This covers Basketball BC registration and once a week gym rentals.

If there are more than 15-20 registrations for an age group, the first two practices will be considered tryouts.

The coaches will choose the members of the training squad for that age group.  Players not selected for the training squad will recieve a refund from their registration fee.  The refund will be $95.  Players who get refunds will still be registered with Basketball BC and will be eligible for our drop-in summer programs.
